CCUS Research Analyst at Wood Mackenzie | Houston, TX | August 2023 - Present |
| At WoodMac, I analyze North American CCUS/CDR markets, policy, technology and economics. I perform asset-level valuations of individual CCUS projects to understand project costs across various CCUS/CDR technologies as well as how policy and carbon markets influence individual project revenues. I also lead our CDR technology research (direct air capture, BECCS, etc.) and have published numerous client- and public-facing long-form pieces based on this research. | |

Optimization Engineer / Operations Engineer / Process Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company | Baytown, TX | June 2020 - July 2023 |
| At CPChem, I supported a world-scale ethylene cracker as an Optimization Engineer. In this role, I helped drive operations to acheive multiple consecutive production records by developing and communicating the unit's optimization strategy. I also commissioned LP Optimization models for 2 ethylene crackers. Before that, I worked as an Operations (Production) Engineer supporting 3 polyethylene production units and as a Process Engineer supporting an ethylene cracker. Some of my projects include developing predictive, mathematical (linear and nonlinear) models for distillation and furnace operation, engineering, planning and executing upgrades to major equipment (tanks, exchangers, pumps, etc.), and modifying plant safety systems to maintain regulatory compliance. I've also assisted in the execution of a total unit shutdown and maintenance outage at a polyethylene unit. During the 40-day turnaround, I was an engineering point-of-contact on nights and assisted in project execution, equipment inspection, and walking down systems for return-to-service. | |

Process Engineering Intern at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company | Sweeny, TX | May - Aug 2019 |
| As an intern at CPChem, I researched, developed, and designed an installation plan to install a compressor water injection, modeled water adsorption profiles to improve desiccant bed performance, and modeled cooling tower performance to draw conclusions about the relative effectiveness of differentequipment installations. | |

Process Engineering Co-op at LyondellBasell | La Porte, TX | Aug - Dec 2019 |
| At LYB, I developed and initiated 8 safety, optimization, and efficiency-related projects and collaborated with vendors and unit engineers to design a new loading mechanism and increase the efficiency of polyethylene product loading and transportation. I also worked on a safety driven capital project worth >$150k. | |
